Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi is on a roll as they recently announced that they sold over 100 million smartphones in the previous five years in India. This is certainly quite a huge number for Xiaomi and this shows the dominance that it has created in the Indian smartphone market in both the budget as well as the mid-range segment.

Pertaining to this and some other factors like specs and features, Xiaomi has made a concrete position in the budget as well as the mid-range smartphone market. Before Xiaomi, this market was firmly held by Motorola, Samsung and other OEMs.

Recently, the company also announced the Redmi Note 8 series of smartphones that includes the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro in China. However, in India, the launch of the smartphone will be delayed by two months due to some technical certifications and testing according to Indian telecom rules.

Another big piece of news for Xiaomi smartphones users is that the company has recently introduced the long-awaited MIUI ROM Download Portal in India. This is a very big news as downloading the MIUI ROM for the specific Xiaomi devices by the Indian users required a bit of digging.

Now the users can look up and download the compatible MIUI ROM for their device without the need to hassle around and search for it. All the ROMs will be available in one place. Besides, users will also be able to download MIUI Recovery ROMs or the Fastboot ROMs as well from this MIUI ROM download portal.

Desktop as well as the mobile version of the app will be available on the Mi Community website and Mi Community app, respectively which will allow user to access the ROMs easily.

Previously, to download all the MIUI ROMs, there was another official portal as part of the (now-defunct) MIUI forum. However, there were some issues (like delayed updates) with the website. To overcome the roadblock, developer yshalsager came up with a handy solution.

Well, if you are still looking for the ‘official’ tag, this new MIUI ROM download portal by Xiaomi is the one-stop central location for downloading all the ROMs for any Xiaomi/Redmi/Pocophone device.

Not only the download portal but Xiaomi has also included a section which will include a step-by-step guide on how to flash these ROMs onto the devices.
