League of Legends is one of the best MOBA games, and its player base grew to 100 million monthly active players in 2017. The game was released in 2009, and Riot Studios has developed it. The game is similar to other popular MOBA games like Dota 2 and World of Warcraft.

The massive success of the game is undeniable, and its player base is growing to huge numbers each year. But Riot Games has failed to meet one small request from its community and fans. LOL players have been demanding a mobile version of the game for a long time.

The shared videos show LOL tutorial mode and hero screen. The gameplay looks pretty smooth from the first look, and the leaked hero screen features 27 League of Legends heroes. As we know, the League of Legends desktop version has a total of 144 heroes, but the leaked mobile hero screen only shows 27 characters. The following heroes have been identified in the leaked videos so far : Ezreal, Garen, Fizz, Oriana, Janna, Lux, Nami, Ahri, Olaf, Shyvana, Tryndamere, Vayne, Vi, Malphite, Twisted Fate, Nasus, Annie, Miss Fortune, Xin Zhao, Gragas, Master Yi, Jax, Fiora, Blitzcrank, Soraka, Dr. Mundo, and Jinx.

It looks like Riot will start with a smaller roster and will gradually add more heroes in the coming times. The leaked video has only showcased us Garen gameplay in tutorial mode. If we believe these leaks to be accurate, then the mobile version of League of Legends is expected to be released soon.

All the leaked videos should be taken with a grain of salt as no official announcement regarding the mobile game has been made by Riot or Tencent. The release of the mobile version of the game is also expected to further increase its player base worldwide.

LOL Esports is very popular in North America and Europe. LOL World Championship 2017 had 60 million unique viewers which itself speaks of the game’s popularity worldwide. Also, many K-Pop stars have given their voice to LOL songs from time to time.

Today, Riot Games has also released a new update for League of Legends which has brought a few nerfs to the game. The new champion Qiyana has received a significant nerf in the update whereas Pantheon has received a noticeable buff.

Pantheon, who was looking weak in his jungle role, is also receiving some major changes. You can check out the complete patch notes by heading here.
