The last few years divided mobile gamers into two categories, PUBGians and non-PUBGians. Even in the overwhelming popularity of this violent game, there are a few titles that stood up. And, Pro Evolution Soccer aka PES is one among them.

Foraying into soccer games evokes a query in everyone’s mind- which is the best – PES or FIFA? The lengthy list of titles from EA Sports and their years of reputation brought the latter to the top. However, recent years turned out to be in the favour of PES.

You might have already seen FIFA glitch videos circulating on the social media. This accelerated the growth of their opponent PES. Rubbing salt into the wound, the Japanese-made game managed to challenge the monopoly of EA Sports by bagging the rights to Euro 2020.

Both the franchises release a new version every year. It is Konami who went first in announcing the release date this time. They will launch eFootball PES 2020 in October. In the meantime, Lennart Bobzien, European PES brand manager accused EA of copying features they already had.

“When I saw the first announcement from our competitor, I immediately spotted that they introduced some features which we’ve had in PES for quite a while”

He said referring to the launch of FIFA 19 in 2018.

When the official announcement of PES 2020 came out, all fanatic gamers fell into a dilemma. Not every player you have on the 2019 game can find their way to the new version. As obvious as it seems, Konami will remove many players due to licensing issues, retirement, and certain other concerns.

Being an avid PES fan, you will have to prepare for the players’ omission. How exactly can you do that? We have here a brief list of players that the next version of the game won’t possibly contain. Make sure you trade them off to stay on the safe shore.
