Joining the Reno lineup of devices (that came as a replacement for the R series), Oppo Reno2 series will surprisingly be hitting the Indian market before the OEM’s home country China. Yes you heard it!

As per the rumored specs, Reno2 is likely to portray a Snapdragon 855+ processor. The phone may pack a 4,065mAh battery, VOOC fast charging, in display fingerprint sensor and Sony’s 48MP IMX586 image sensor. We may see a 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage variant priced between INR 35-40K.

Coming to the official specs, Reno 2 series is going to be a Quad camera device with 20x Zoom, as has been teased by the company itself (can be seen in the feature image). Also, the Shark Fin selfie camera has been given a confirmation, meaning, a full screen display, just like predecessor Reno devices.

The info confirming the launch date came straight from the horse’s mouth. Some time back, Oppo India took to Twitter to break the news about the date of release saying:

Introducing #OPPOReno2 #Quadcam with #20xZoom. Coming first to India on

    28.08.2019

So there you go. Those of you who’ve been aiming to get hands on this beautiful looking Oppo Reno device, set the reminders.
