Epic Games released its Battle Royale themed game “Fortnite” two years ago, and since then the game has been topping the ranking charts. The game was released on 25 July 2017, and now it’s Fortnite second birth anniversary.

Last year, Epic Games introduced birthday-themed tasks and challenges to mark the celebration of Fortnite’s first birthday. This year, the company is celebrating Fortnite’s 2nd birthday in a similar fashion by introducing birthday-themed challenges.

Fortnite’s second birthday event is currently live on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android. The event brings in certain challenges, that gives players the chance to unlock some exclusive rewards.

Here is what Epic’s official blog post reads:

“Time flies when you’re having fun, two years in fact.”
“The Fortnite Birthday Celebration kicks off this week starting Thursday, July 25 and runs until Wednesday, July 31.
“We’re celebrating all over the Battle Royale map with present supply drops, birthday cakes and a gift item you’ll be able to toss to your squad.
“The Battle Bus will have a music track and be thematically skinned just in time for the party.”
The event will be live until the end of the month, giving players about a week’s time to complete the challenges.

    Moreover, players can also get a new Pickaxe, which will be unlocked upon completing all four standard challenges.

    Note: Fortnite birthday challenges are live, and you will receive them once you log into the game. The challenges listed above can be completed in any mode. The event ends on July 31 at 1 p.m. CT.

    Fortnite Overtime Challenges

    Surely, Birthday bash will be an unforgettable event for Fortnite fans and players. However, if you are done with the Birthday Challenges, you can also take a dig at the Overtime Challenges, which are also currently live in-game, as of July 23.

    Overtime Challenges List & Rewards

    • Stage 1/2: Reach Battle Pass Tier 23 – Bunker Jonesy Outfit Variant (Reward)
    • Stage 2/2: Complete (3) Free Overtime Challenges – Bunker Jonesy Outfit Variant (Reward)
    • Stage 1/2: Reach Battle Pass Tier 71 – Outfit Variant (Reward)
    • Stage 2/2: Complete (6) Free Overtime Challenges – Outfit Variant (Reward)
    • Stage 1/2: Reach battle Pass Tier 87 – Outfit Variant (Reward)
    • Stage 2/2: Complete (9) Free Overtime Challenges – Outfit Variant (Reward)
    • Work together with Friends to get (25) eliminations – 25,000XP (Reward)
    • (2,500) Damage to opponents with Shotguns (try Party Assist!) – 25,000XP (Reward)
    • Visit Loot Lake, Polar Peak, and Pressure Plant – Loading Screen (Reward)

    The overtime challenges will last until the end of season 9. So, players have an adequate amount of time to complete the overtime challenges.

    Also, Fortnite Season 9 is just a week away from its end, which will mark the start of Fortnite Season 10. The after effect of Cattus and Doggus event gave birth to a mysterious Orb which will play an essential role in Fortnite Season 10.

    Fortnite Season 10 will commence on 1 August 2019. The battle pass for the upcoming season is expected to cost around 950 V-Bucks or USD 9.99.
