New updates are being added to the bottom of the story…

Original story (from July 15) follows:

Getting an error when trying to watch Euphoria on HBO GO? Looks like the HBO Go service is experiencing an outage of sorts as we are seeing a lot of complaints from users who say the service is down for them.

Complainants are taking to social media platforms like Twitter to share their frustration. Take a look:

There are also been complaints about the HBO Now not working. It’s been hours now since this outage was first reported.

As we haven’t come across any official word on the matter so far, so currently it’s difficult to say why the service is down and when it’ll be back up. But we’re looking for more information and will update the story as soon as we have anything newsworthy.

Until then, use the comments section below to let us know what exactly are you experiencing currently.

Update 1 (July 15)

Both HBO Go and HBO Now official Twitter accounts have confirmed the issue:

Our team is aware of access issues with #HBONOW. We appreciate your patience as our team works towards a resolution. Please check (link: http://help.hbonow.com) help.hbonow.com for updates.

So there you go. If you are affected by this outage, wait is currently the only option you have.

As online services undergoing outages is quite normal, I am sure you wouldn’t want to ditch your HBO Now or HBO Go app in favor of alternatives like Amazon Prime, PlayStation Vue, and more.

As for troubleshooting or workarounds, you may try updating your app or restarting it, but there are very weak chances any of these will help. However, there’s not harm in giving these are try.

Update 2 (July 15)

The services are apparently coming back up for many users. The official pages for HBO Now and HBO Go support, however, are yet to announce anything about it.

Update 3 (July 15)

It’s now been officially confirmed the problem has been fixed.

This issue is now resolved. Please reach out for further support
