[Updated] Wix website down and not working (error 502), company says issue being looked into

Popular web development platform Wix, which allows you to create professional grade websites, is currently down. Specifically, users are not able to access the official Wix website – error 502 is what most users say they get.

Following are some reports:

For its part, the Wix support Twitter handle has said the issue is being investigated:

We’re keeping a tab on the matter, and will update the story when this Wix issue gets fixed, or if there’s any major development before that. Until then, keep checking back, and in case you have an observation to share, drop in a comment below.

Wix users are again reporting issues with the service. Complaints can be seen on social media platforms (see here). The company says they’re looking into the matter.
