Oppo K3 price in India, launch date, and full specification: Here’s what we know so far
Back in May this year, Oppo launched a new phone dubbed Oppo K3. There was a lot of buzz surrounding the device (evident from the number of leaks and rumors we saw leading up to its unveiling) primarily because of some of its specs and a very low price tag.
For those who aren’t aware, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset, and features a 6.5-inch full screen display, 6GB RAM and an elevating or pop-up selfie camera of 16MP. There’s also an under display or in screen fingerprint scanner.
Other specs include 16MP+2MP rear camera module, 3,765mAh battery (with VOOC fast charging support), and Android Pie 9.0 based ColorOS 6. As for pricing, the Oppo K3 carries a starting tag of around $230 in China, which is currently the only region where the phone is available.
Now, a couple of days back, it came to light the India launch of the Oppo K3 is imminent. The device will be available through Amazon as the retailer has already started a teaser campaign for the smartphone. Following images can be seen on Amazon’s India website:
While there was no clarity on the India pricing when the Amazon teaser grabbed news headlines a couple of days ago, yesterday, a publication named 91Mobiles reported citing its sources that the Oppo K3 launch date in India is likely to be July 19 as the company is set for launch of a K series phone in India on that date.
Coming to pricing, the Oppo K3 price in India as well as neighboring Pakistan and Bangladesh should not be too different from the China pricing, which as I already told you is around $230. Sadly, there’s currently no official info or a credible leak/rumor about the pricing.
It’s worth mentioning here that $230 is the starting price of the phone in China. For this much money, you get the 6GB+64GB variant. There’s another model that comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, costing somewhere around $275.
So that’s pretty much it for now. However, rest assured, we’ll let you know as and when more info about the Oppo K3 comes to light. Until then, let us know your thoughts about the phone in the comments section below.
