Epic Games released v9.30 second content update for Fortnite today, and it brought the all-new Drum shotgun to the game. The newly introduced weapon is available in Common, Uncommon, and Rare variants. The new drum shotgun deals 45/47/ 50 damage per shot.

However, the newly introduced weapon is under criticism from players and fans. The players are finding this new weapon overpowered and can easily obtained from Floor Loot, Vending Machines, and Loot Carriers.

Another thing that worries players is that Drum Shotgun is an automatic weapon as players do not need to press the fire button to deal damage to opponents. They just need to hold it down; it will start doing the job.

The automatic fire nature of the weapon does not allow opponent players to respond in time, as it fires a barrage of bullets and makes it difficult to defend it. Also, there is very little time to react, as a second shot from the weapon comes extremely quickly.

Many players took to Twitter to express their concerns over this newly introduced weapon and fairly criticised it. Take a look at a series of tweets from players who have come forward to take a dig at this matter.

As many players have come forward to complain about this new weapon, we have to wait and see how Epic Legends respond to it. We can expect this weapon to be nerfed in the next major update of the game.
