Redmi Note 7 series has proven to be a jackpot for the Chinese phone manufacturer Xiaomi at least in India. After achieving a million units sold milestone in one month of Note 7 series hitting the shelves, the company managed to repeat the pattern even in the second month by doubling up the sales.

At the same time, Xiaomi is frequently pushing updates to Redmi Note 7 series. With the closure of April, landed MIUI 10.3.5.0 on Redmi Note 7 devices. Along March security patch, the update brought new AI camera modes and floating window for incoming calls during games, and some bug fixes.

However, as we highlighted in our recent coverage, MIUI 10.3.5.0 didn’t make way to Redmi Note 7 units in India. That’s because, while the global and European models are updated through the MIUI 10.3.x channel, the Indian Redmi Note 7 are updated through MIUI 10.2.x branch (at least for now).

Anyway, as per the latest user reports, even the Pro kin of Redmi Note 7 has begun to receive the MIUI 10.3.5.0 stable update. As some of you may be aware, Redmi Note 7 Pro has two models – Indian and Chinese. So this update is basically coming to the Indian variants of Redmi Note 7 Pro.

After querying Xiaomi’s Update Server (with yshalsager‘s Xiaomi Firmware Updater), we could get hands on the following device-specific changelog (exclusive):

Changelog:

Optimization: You can open Home screen using your fingerprint after your face data is verified
Camera
New: New modes for AI camera
Fix: Camera force closed when the app was closed and opened again in the Video mode

As for the generic user shared changelog, here’s what it states:
