Update 1 (April 13, 2019)
04:51 pm (IST): Adventure Sync feature for Pokemon Go that was introduced by Niantic last year made it possible for players to track or record the traveled kilometers even when the game is offline. How? Simply through integration with fitness apps like Apple Health and Google Fit.
But for almost a week now, Pokemon Go players have been chiming that the feature isn’t working or updating for them.

What has now come to our notice is that Nintendo has intentionally disabled this feature due to the recently reported server issues.
Rest easy, Trainer! Adventure Sync is currently disabled due to the server issues. However, your progress up until this point has been preserved and will be restored once these issues have been resolved. Thanks for understanding. ^SR

Not only that, Nintendo is also working on resolving a Lucky Friends-related glitch wherein reportedly only one person gets to be a lucky friend after interaction.
We’ll post an update when the issue has been fixed. Thank you for your patience!
