NBA 2K League Combine matchmaking still not working

NBA 2K League, an immensely popular game, is currently going through a Combine matchmaking glitch, wherein gamers are waiting for match ups and nothing other than a search screen similar to the one shared in the following tweet shows up.

A humongous number of the affected 2K League gamers have chimed about the issue on micro-blogging site Twitter in past couple of days. But sadly, the issue still awaits a fix.

Is this a know problem?

Yes it is. Coming to what have the game developers have done so far, the matter was officially acknowledged a couple of days back.

We are aware of the current matchmaking issue. We appreciate you letting us know and we are working on it

Following which the game developers updated the users that combine matchmaking issue is expected to be resolved by today’s (Dec 09) second playing window between 2am to 8am ET (currently ongoing).

Soon after, the devs came up with the information that they’ll be “adding an additional playing window for Combine to replace today’s playing window“, the date and time for which shall be shared later.

This is presumably due to the matchmaking problem continuing to persist even in today’s second window. Take a look at some of the recent reports.

We hope the game developers fix up whatever’s broken before players run out of patience. Rest assured, we’re keeping an active tab and will update the story as and when any newsworthy development comes to our notice.

Note: Apart from NBA 2K League, matchmaking is broken for Destiny 2 as well.
