BREAKING: This could be our first real look at OnePlus 7
The OnePlus 6T is finally out in the market, and – as is usually the norm – it’s time for rumors about the next OnePlus smartphone to start cropping up. While we’ve already seen concept images for the device (which should be out in H1 2019), what we have now could well be our first real look at the OnePlus 7.
Ard Boudeling, who is social lead at OnePlus, shared an image of a OnePlus smartphone with a caption ‘peekaboo’. The image focuses on the back of the device.

Agreed, the rear design revealed by the image is similar to that of the OnePlus 6T. So, what makes us think this is the OnePlus 7? Well, firstly, it’s hard to miss the number ‘7’ created by the lighting effect on the device’s back. And secondly, why would a company executive play peekaboo for a device which is already launched in the market? (unless it’s a new OnePlus 6T variant of course).
Despite these reasons, the fact remains that this device being OnePlus 7 is still a speculation. Anyway, assuming OnePlus 7 will also feature a glass back, we hope the company includes the wireless charging feature this time around.
How the device will look from front?
Well, there’s practically no credible information on this at the moment. However, a concept render has been making rounds recently showing the front camera being pierced into the screen.

Of course, this is just a fan made concept, so there should be no surprises if the company ends up with an altogether different design for the OnePlus 7. This very guy revealed the same design for the Galaxy S10, but recent developments indicate Samsung has completely different plans.
What else we know about OnePlus 7 so far
Not much, apart from the fact that OnePlus has already confirmed that it would be one of the first companies to launch a 5G-enabled phone, and the OnePlus 7 could very well be that device. The phone will likely also feature Snapdragon 8150 (aka Snapdragon 855). Rest assured, we’ll let you know as and when more info on the OnePlus 7 surfaces.
