[Update: Likely fake] Stunningly beautiful Samsung Galaxy S10 leaks in real life image
Update (November 01): We are getting feedback (see comments) that suggests this is likely a fake image. So take this leak with a heavy dose of skepticism.
Original story follows:
Samsung Galaxy S10 has been in news and rumors for quite sometime now, not just because it’s the next flagship from the South Korean smartphone giant, but also because of the radical changes it might bring to the design of smartphones in general.
What the iPhone X’s notch did this year (the market got flooded with notch totting smartphones), the Galaxy S10’s design – if what rumors and leaks have suggested so far is true – could do to the smartphone market next year. The aspect we are talking about is the way the front camera is positioned.
There have already been Galaxy S10 concept images (via Ben Geskin) showing the selfie camera peeping out through a tiny hole in the screen. Take a look:
Here’s another comparing the upcoming flagship with the Galaxy S9 and the iPhone Xs Max:

And now, the same guy (Ben Geskin) has leaked another Galaxy S10 image which shows the device in flesh. As usual, he shared the image through Twitter:

As the tweet text suggests, Geskin is quite confident that this is the Galaxy S10.
And if you go by the leaksters track record, there is more than a fair chance that he is correct. What lends more weight to this design is the fact that Samsung itself is claiming that its next flagship mobile device will feature industry-leading screen-to-body ratio.
Here’s what Harksang Kim, Samsung’s Senior Vice President and Head of Mobile Visual R&D recently said:
Samsung is focused on enhancing the size of the display and, importantly, the ratio of the active area on the handset. Our screen-to-body-ratio will be top notch
Anyway, we can’t resist but say the device shown in the image has a stunningly beautiful design. What do you think?
Other Galaxy S10 details leaked so far
In addition to the innovative front camera design, the Galaxy S10 series of devices are expected to come with in-display fingerprint sensor (the recently unveiled OnePlus 6T has one), three cameras on the back, amazing new colors, and 5G capabilities.
Aside from this, as we recently revealed, the Galaxy S10 is also likely to come with 2x optical zoom capability in Pro mode, something which is missing from the Galaxy Note 9 as well as the S9 plus, but has been in high demand among users.
As for disappointments, there have been reports – from highly reliable publications like Bloomberg – that the tech giant is toying with the idea of removing the standard 3.5mm headphone jack starting with Galaxy S10. Samsung was one of the last few major smartphone players sticking to the headphone jack, but looks like the company is ready to jump the ship.
