OnePlus has already confirmed some key stuff related to the OnePlus 6T. The list includes an under screen fingerprint scanner as well as October 17 official unveiling.

And not to mention the official TV advertisement for the 6T that aired recently in India, showing the upper back of the upcoming smartphone.

As you might already know, there have been several leaks and rumors about the device as well. One feature that has been consistent across all leaks is the water drop notch.

So it appears that this Oppo R17 series style notch is almost confirmed. And lending more weight to this is a screen protector listing spotted on what appears to be the official OnePlus website.

This screenshot was shared by a user on Weibo.

Since the text in the screenshot is in Chinese, we tried exploring the Chinese OnePlus website, but couldn’t find this listing.

While it’s likely that the listing has been taken down since, the possibility of this being fake cannot be ruled out as well.

Assuming the screenshot is legit, the screen protector image does officially confirm the water drop notch (no surprises there) and a slight chin.

In addition to the features already confirmed, the OnePlus 6T is likely to arrive with a dual rear camera setup (16MP + 20MP), Snapdragon 845 SoC, up to 8GB/256GB memory config, and a 6.4-inch screen.

The device will be an Amazon exclusive in India.

PiunikaWeb is a unique initiative that mainly focuses on investigative journalism. This means we do a lot of hard work to come up with news stories that are either ‘exclusive,’ ‘breaking,’ or ‘curated’ in nature. Perhaps that’s the reason our work has been picked by the likes of Forbes, Engadget, The Verge, Macrumors, and more. Do take a tour of our website to get a feel of our work. And if you like what we do, stay connected with us on Twitter (@PiunikaWeb) and other social media channels to receive timely updates on stories we publish.
