As is usually the case with flagship smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 pre-order promo also included freebies – AKG noise canceling headphones or the unique Fortnite Galaxy skin with 15,000 V-bucks (or both for $99). However, those who pre-ordered the device have been facing issues with redeeming these offers.

Now we have some more information related to the matter that may prove to be helpful. Samsung has provided a way for users to check the status of their Note 9 Turn Up Your Play pre-order promotion.

All you have to do is to head here, enter in the e-mail address that you registered with, and then wait for 24 hours. Here’s how a Samsung moderator explained the process on the official company forum:

If you’ve already submitted for the Note9 Turn Up Your Play pre-order promotion, you can check on the status yourself! It’s quick and easy, all you have to do is:

Go to https://promos.samsungpromotions.com/info/checkstatus
Enter in the e-mail address that you registered with, and that’s it!

Just make sure that you allow 24 hours after submitting for your submission status to be available with your email address. You’ll be rocking that Fortnite Galaxy skin and/or those AKG headphones in no time!

Sadly, as easy as it may sound, several users who tried this process also reported facing issues. Following are comments from some of them:

This doesn’t show the V-Bucks promotion status, this is only for the AKG headphones.

Mine is still pending after 3 days

Mine has been under review for 5 days now….i want to resolve this problem also.

My promo is also still under review after 4 days. Can i get an update?

I entered the info 4 days ago and status still says pending. No one answers the phones or answers the chat box.. what is up

After 4days no fortnite v-bucks, got only galaxy skin which is wired. It said I redeemed v-buckes but I didn’t. It’s really is annoying. How and when I get it?

A Samsung moderator recently confirmed they are looking into the “under review” issue.

Thank you so much for that confirmation. We are definitely looking into this to determine why there is a delay. We will definitely reach out to you as soon as we have an update. Thank you for your patience.

Meanwhile, Samsung forum moderators are also considering cases on personal basis, and asking users to provide more information.
