OnePlus’ current product range includes several accessories, like phone covers and cases, chargers and cables, headphones, and lifestyle gear. And now, it looks like the company is planning to launch a new accessory.
Last week, a OnePlus staff member – Crystal Z – initiated a discussion/contest on the Chinese company’s official forum, asking members of the forum to share a picture of their desk. As for the reason, they said the company is “interested” in desk accessories.
Following is what they exactly said:
Recently, our accessory product team has been studying desk accessories because we’re quite interested in this area
Sadly, the staff member didn’t reveal any specific product(s) the company is planning to launch. Given the contest though, it appears, OnePlus hasn’t yet zeroed down on what exactly the product would be.
Of course, since all this is seemingly in the initial stages, there’s no guarantee the plan will materialize, meaning whether or not the company will come up with a desk accessory is still up in the air.
A desk accessory could be anything from a paper weight to a file/folder rack or holder. If you ask us, we would place our bet on something related to a phone (like a wireless charger). What do you think the product would be?
