First it was the OnePlus 3T that came a few months after the OnePlus 3, then arrived the OnePlus 5T, which followed the OnePlus 5. So it shouldn’t be surprising if fans are expecting a OnePlus 6T this year (now that the OnePlus 6 is already out).

Sadly, there has been no confirmation from OnePlus’ end so far on this matter. In fact, the OnePlus India GM recently dropped hints suggesting the company may not be keen on outing a T variant this year.

However, what we are bringing to you today is a slight ray of hope that OnePlus 6T exists and is set to be released in a few months from now. The news comes courtesy of a OnePlus forum moderator (Assistant Head Moderator to be specific).

Here’s what they said while replying to a user (who was confused whether to wait for 6T or go for 6):

If you want to wait for 6T please do so as it will be out in coming months. When .. we need to wait for the official annoucement

OnePlus6T
So there you ago, it can’t get clearer than this. However, do keep in mind ‘oalexander’ is a moderator, and not a staff member, so this can’t be treated as an official confirmation.

But needless to say, moderators have more knowledge about the company’s products and plans than we end-users do. This coupled with the confidence reflected in oalexander’s response gives us at least some basis to say the OnePlus 6T exists after all.

Specs-wise, nothing is yet known about the device (there haven’t even been much rumors to refer to). However, a concept video made by a fan had surfaced last week. It’s embedded below for you to take a look.
