Oreo for Honor 8 Pro started rolling out in the month of February this year. However, the update didn’t include the Face Unlock feature that users have been waiting for. The good news is the functionality has started rolling out now.

Honor India’s official Twitter account confirmed this a few hours ago, saying the update is arriving as version B320:

In fact, users in other regions have already been receiving the update – which is over 500MB in size – for a few weeks now.

In addition to Face unlock, the update also adds smart lock screen notifications. It is “a feature that by default hides notification content on the lock screen,” the change-log says. Honor says the functionality “protects your privacy by preventing others from reading your messages.” Finally, Android patches for March are also included in the update.
