Super Chat donations not updating in YouTube Analytics? Google’s aware
As some of you may know, Super Chat is a popular monetization feature that allows fans to pay to get their comments highlighted while interacting with creators during live streams.
But the feature is currently out of order, and Google is working to fix the same.
The problem is, the donation/revenue that creators receive for pinning their fan’s comment while live streaming are not updating in YouTube Analytics, and the matter is being widely reported by users across different help forums (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12).
Similar reports can be seen on micro-blogging site Twitter as well. Take a look at some of the recent ones:
A heads up to Streamers on YouTube, check your earnings on SuperChat and keep a record. There tech Glitch that makes your donations not register. I don't know if it's happening for anyone else but I just caught it, e-mailed youtube and they confirmed it. Another Issue …. 😠

@YouTube @YTCreators so were you guys going to announce that there is a superchat problem? First you make us wait over a year for review, and now it's the superchats? I bet Logan Paul's superchats work just fine. Just a guess.

Yeah. A bunch of YouTubers, myself included, have not had superchat revenue reflected in analytics for about a week. And we know we have gotten plenty. But it shows $0.00. So where’s the money?

@YouTube @TeamYouTube Do we have any update on the Superchat issue on Youtube? Its been 9 days for myself, and no credit with anything. Youtube mailed me and said they were working on a fix, but I havent seen an annoucement or anything and was wondering.

@StreamlabsHQ I'm using your chatbot and I love it! One issue that I'm experiencing is that I cannot see Superchat donations when I'm streaming on YouTube which makes me have to pop out the chat on the stream itself. Is this a known issue or is there a setting I've missed?

What’s relieving is that Google’s aware of the glitch and working to fix the same, as confirmed by the company employee Marissa (on YouTube help forum) and YouTube’s official Twitter account (@teamyoutube) while reverting back to some of the complainants.

While the matter is being looked into, there’s no known timeline as to how long will YouTube take to fix what’s broken. We hope they do it sooner than later. Meanwhile, we are keeping a tab on all related developments, and will update as and when anything news-worthy occurs.
