While Samsung is already investigating wireless charging issues with their Galaxy S8 flagships, another charging glitch is now gaining heat – fast charging is not working on many Galaxy S8/S8+ devices.
This latest problem is being reported by many – both on Twitter as well as the official Samsung Community – where most of those affected are saying that a recent update has broken the fast charging feature for them.

What’s being put across by a good number of users is that after installing the update, their Galaxy S8/S8+ devices have stopped fast charging, and are only charging normally. Some have also clearly mentioned they are facing the problem despite using the boxed/original charger. Some even tested and confirmed that changing the charger/cable had no affect, ruling out the possibility of an issue with charger/cable.

Though the company hasn’t said anything officially yet, the number of complaints is quickly escalating, strongly suggesting something’s indeed broken. We hope the company will take notice and fix the problem sooner than later.
