Update (September 21):

You can read about existing Samsung Galaxy Note9 issues and problems here.

Update (September 02): At least one user has confirmed the Special Edition Galaxy Note 9 that comes with 2 S-Pens is also available in Hong Kong.

Original story follows:

One of the selling points of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is the S-Pen that comes along with the phone – there’s a lot you can do with this new S-Pen. So naturally, S-Pen is all the more important now.

What if I tell you that Samsung is offering 2 S Pens with the phone? Hard to believe, right? But that’s true – there’s an extra yellow S-Pen. Oh, and yes, there’s a free case as well.

See the following video:

And here’s another one:

The catch is the extra S-Pen only comes with the 512GB variant of the smartphone. While details are scarce, going by reports, it appears the offer is limited to the ocean blue model in South Korea.

While companies offering different deals in different regions isn’t something new, Samsung offering an extra S Pen with Galaxy Note9 only in a market or two will surely not go down well with fans in other key markets like the US.

Sure, those aware of this are already discussing (1,2,3,4) about the possibility of the deal being expanded to their countries.

We are currently on a hunt for concrete details on the matter, and will update the story as and when there’s something available to share. So keep watching this space. Meanwhile, you can share your thoughts in the comments section below.

PiunikaWeb is a unique initiative that mainly focuses on investigative journalism. This means we do a lot of hard work to come up with news stories that are either ‘exclusive,’ ‘breaking,’ or ‘curated’ in nature. Perhaps that’s the reason our work has been picked by the likes of Forbes, Engadget, The Verge, Macrumors, and more. Do take a tour of our website to get a feel of our work. And if you like what we do, stay connected with us on Twitter (@PiunikaWeb) and other social media channels to receive timely updates on stories we publish.
