Last to last week, OnePlus highlighted on their official community how they went about finalizing the new UI that current beta users on OnePlus 5/5T can see.

While OnePlus 5/5T beta users (who got hands over the new UI) aren’t done with appreciation and suggestions yet, we have at hand a related news for OnePlus 6 users as well.

What’s now coming to light is that the new UI will be landing on OnePlus 6 devices as well.

The information came from a OnePlus staff member while reverting back to one of the users who inquired whether OP6 will also get the new UI design.

The staff member said:

Yes, This new UI design will apply to OnePlus 6 recently.

The new look and feel, as OnePlus puts, focuses on “a slimmed down, minimalist design”,

And more.

So there you go. All of these UI changes should soon be available on OnePlus 6 devices. But exactly when? There’s no information on that currently.

Rest assured, we’ll let you as and when that happens. Until then, stay tuned.

PiunikaWeb is a unique initiative that mainly focuses on investigative journalism. This means we do a lot of hard work to come up with news stories that are either ‘exclusive,’ ‘breaking,’ or ‘curated’ in nature. Perhaps that’s the reason our work has been picked by the likes of Forbes, Engadget, The Verge, Macrumors, and more. Do take a tour of our website to get a feel of our work. And if you like what we do, stay connected with us on Twitter (@PiunikaWeb) and other social media channels to receive timely updates on stories we publish.

Coming to PiunikaWeb, I know it was a complete switch over, but the idea was appealing enough to put in all the effort it called for. My work primarily involves research. Oh, and yes, some of the photographs you see here are clicked by me. Overall, I am enjoying whatever I am doing, and hoping you’ll also feel the same reading all my articles.
