Update 3: At least one user has confirmed that a reboot did the trick for them.

Update 2: Some AT&T subscribers are getting concerned about bills, and rightly so.

Update 1: Latest tweets from AT&T suggest the outage may have been resolved, although the company hasn’t officially announced it yet.

Original story follows:

American multinational telecom company AT&T’s cellular data service is currently down, as is being reported by an endless stream of users on micro-blogging site Twitter for past few hours.

Here’s a selection of some of the just tweeted complaints highlighting that mobile data is down/not working across multiple areas in the US (as can also be clearly seen in the feature image of the story):

Don’t worry. AT&T is looking into this.

The company is acting quickly, addressing and pacifying endless number of troubled users, telling them the glitch is being worked on and will be fixed soon.

We hope the company fixes up this data outage mess sooner than later, as it’s already affecting a lot of users (as can also be seen in the following Reddit threads) across the country.

Meanwhile, the only saving soul is WiFi, as suggested by the company itself.
