Observing white line in middle of screen in YouTube app? You are not alone
Of late, YouTube app users have been chiming about a weird static white line in the mid of their Android device’s screen (clearly seen in the following user shared video).
While some of the complainants say the white line shows up while scrolling through the YouTube app, for others it pops up on minimizing the current video.
The issue is being widely reported, as confirmed by large number of reports on various online forums, including OnePlus forum (1,2,3,4,5,6), Reddit (1,2,3), YouTube help forum, as well as the app’s Play Store listing.
While YouTube hasn’t given a word on the matter yet, here’s what OnePlus Support on Twitter told one of the complainants.
Hi, Rahul! We've noticed this, too. We think this is a bug on YouTube because this started to show up when they made an update on changing the size of the video you minimized.

It’s quite possible the YouTube change OnePlus’ Twitter account is talking about may have caused the problem. YouTube, for its part, hasn’t officially confirmed or acknowledged the issue yet. We hope the company does that asap, and fixes the problem without much delay.
