It won’t be a stretch to say that updates for smartphones have become infamous for triggering broken functionalities. And the same is what Facebook users on different mobile devices have been voicing lately.

Looks like Facebook app’s gone a little buggy, as videos get stuck in a repetitive loop – where they pause after playing for some fractions and then restart, and keep playing the same segment repetitively – irrespective of whether on Wi-fi or mobile data.

The following user shared video on Twitter clearly displays Facebook apps video play issue:

The problem is majorly reported by Galaxy Note8/S8/S8+ owners, and some Pixel 2XL and OnePlus device owners as well. The glitch appears to be wide spread as complaints are pouring on multiple help forums – Samsung Community, Reddit, XDA, Android Central, OnePlus Forums – as well as Twitter.

While the company hasn’t said much about the aforementioned glitch yet, more users are pitching in daily. Whatever the reason be, we are hoping that the company will take a look and fix the problem sooner than later.
