YouTube’s feature to archive live streams is broken for many
Live streaming, as you might already know, is the process of transmitting/receiving video/audio content in real-time over the Internet. YouTube also allows you to live stream your content. In addition, it also gives the facility to archive/backup live streams. But for quite long, the Archive feature is not working as intended for hundreds of users.
What’s being reported is that live streams’ archive on YouTube gets stuck in processing for not only hours and days, but even months in some cases. Ideally, an archive should get created within 24 hours after the live broadcast is finished.

Last year in July, an expert on the official YouTube forum suggested the affected users, who were ineligible for email support, to post their query on forum. As a result, a large number of users encountering this archive-related issue took the lead to voice their problem.
Despite being an year old matter, the error continues to be reported till date. While there’s no official word from YouTube on this problem, forum experts are asking about the following details to access to problem:
