‘Esas son buenas noticias’ should be the reaction of Gmail’s Spanish customers when they’ll hear that the app’s Smart Reply feature in now rolling out in their native language.

Inbox by Gmail was the first app that got the Smart Reply functionality, something which happened back in November 2015. It arrived on Gmail this year in May, and was only available in English so far.

As for what it does, the feature – which rolled out in India last month – suggests three automated responses to a received message by using machine learning technology. User can choose one suitable option amongst the suggested ones and use it as a reply message.

Maintaining its basic function, Smart Reply will continue to do the same for Spanish speakers as well. If you intend to use it, you can grab the latest Gmail app from Play Store and App Store, depending on whether you’re using an Android device or iOS handset.
