YouTube’s new feature lets you block comments with links and hashtags
Good news for YouTubers grumbling about comments with links of low quality on published videos. The company brings to you a new setting in Creator Studio, which if enabled will block comments with links and hashtags.
Team YouTube’s latest tweet revealed the functionality this morning.

To access the newly-launched feature, all you have to do is go to Creator Studio> Community settings of your channel> Block links, and check the corresponding box.
After this, all new comments with URLs will be directed for review first. Needless to say, the setting won’t block/remove old spam comments that have already been posted on your videos.
