Youtube is pulling the plug on Video Editor and Photo slideshows
Fond of YouTube’s Video Editor and Photo slideshows? If so, you might be put off to hear that both these functionalities will be killed by the mid of September this year.
An employee from Google revealed the company’s plans to retire these services on the official YouTube forum.
Reason? Limited utilization of both features by customers. In addition, Google says they aim to concentrate on developing new tools, along with improving the existing ones.
“You’ll have two months to finalize any video projects before we turn off the features completely,” the announcement said. “After that you will no longer have access to projects in the Video Editor, but any videos already published with the Video Editor will not be affected.”
Not to miss that the Enhancement service will continue to be available, and will be accessible through Video Manager.
