Stuck in loop while connecting YouTube channel with AdSense? It’s a known bug
For quite some time now, several YouTube users have been reporting an issue with connecting their AdSense account to their YouTube channels. The issue is that they get stuck in a loop while trying to enable the Monetization feature in their YouTube account.
Basically, what happens is, enabling Monetization feature redirects users to their AdSense account, which is a fairly standard procedure. But despite completing all the steps there and gaining necessary approvals, the Monetization feature remains disabled. And any further tries of enabling it results in the same, aforementioned loop.
This issue has been troubling users since January, 2017. On January 16, 2017, a Google employee addressed the users saying:
“The issue is now fixed. You should now be able to connect your channel(s) with AdSense”.
However, on May 31, 2017, an YouTube forum expert mentioned that:
“looping back is unfortunately a currently known bug”.
A quick look at the relevant threads on official YouTube forums reveals that despite escalating number of cases, users are still waiting for a fix. If you have been facing the above mentioned problem, keep checking back here for further updates.
